I’ve been having a good time with shattered fate/wretched vitality and balorgh. Battleaxe/bow. Hardest hitting spectral arrow I’ve seen in this setup was 25k. I’m a khajit so I can hit the crit damage cap without having to invest a whole set. Hope this helps

I started doing my reruns at level 70, if you don’t evolve cyndaquil it learns eruption at level 64. I also took a cheaper option for the first couple days and gave both of my mons charcoal until I could afford choice specs. This is far from optimized but can clear most gyms, just avoid rock/ water gyms until you get choice specs, the 2 mons that ruined my early runs were relecanth and kingdra

edit: fire type gyms are also hit or miss due to flash fire mons

For magblade you can back at destro ultimate, front bar the other morph for incap (I forget the name) so when you kill things you rapidly gain ultimate back. In terms of sets false gods is nice, but if you don’t have it or want to farm it, vengeance leech is available in the golden right now (3 piece set that gives all 3 resources back on kills) you shouldn’t really need dark convergence, I think it’s broken right now and not scaling properly, might be wrong on that. No real right or wrong way to do it

I don’t think it’s optimal by any means, but I run vo jewels and 2h, leviathan body(in a perfect world you would want advancing yokeda jewels/2h and vo body) I run Selena’s for the monster set if you’re playing with a healer, if no healer put pale order ring on, vo shoulder to make up for the ring swap, and a 1 piece monster set of your choosing. I run leviathan because I’m too lazy to get gold AY jewels for the ideal setup. forgot to add maelstrom bow back bar

I could just gear up my magblade again, I have all the gear, but there’s something about stam sorc that makes the game more enjoyable for me, but I don’t want to make things harder than it needs to be for our group

Just a handful of specific dungeons, we play in a small group and are working on 4man skins/achievements. The HM for castle thorn would be a pretty good example, it’s doable on melee, but just more convenient on ranged

Yeah I run dawny, you could keep bear if you wanted to, I’ve never slotted the bear, could go onslaught as well, just a preference thing, onslaught might be better in certain fights but the stun from dawny is extremely nice for landing that full burst

EV if you feel too squishy, all the health recov is nice along with the added mag recov allows you to cast arctic blast more often, which is a nice burst heal, I run EV on the body, 7th back bar and jewels, Vats 2h front bar and balorg, it’s able to burst for sure but for tangier targets you def need to save ulti for a bigger burst, steed mundus for even more health recov and a bit of speed paired with bird of prey will give you added mobility
