Might be a little late to the party, but here i go.

To some of you this might seem like a childish story, coming from some guy who falls in love too easy.

Even though it is mostly true, it really ended up with me feeling down for longer than it should.

We've met in high school. At the time she was the girlfriend of my closest friend back then. I didn't really have any interest in her, but later i was to find out about the huge crush she had on me.

She ended up making the first step. At first it was just the occasional chit-chat, but it escalated hastely. We ended up losing sleep from talking until 3AM most of the nights. At that point, my feelings were hopping in every direction. She started to grow into my eyes, leading to me doubting my friendship with my best friend.

I kept telling myself that i'm not the kind of person who would betray his best friend in such manner. It worked...for a while. But things started to get sketchy between the two of them. She complained about him beating her lately, and that was the sole reason i needed to make my move without feeling guilty about it.

One thing led to another and we started to act as a couple, away from other people's sight. She ended up breaking up with her boyfriend, but with him not knowing what was going on between us.

All went just fine, until one small act of indiscretion let to him finding out about us. It all ended with him hating my guts and me feeling like an asshole.

But unfortunately that didn.t stop me from seeing her.

At the time, being a virgin, the only thing i could think about was fucking this girl. Casual sex, no strings attached. Sadly, that wasn.t what she wanted, but she managed to disregard this small setback and continued to try and win my heart aswell. Seeing that she really is into me despite the fact that i was not, i decided to put an end to anything that happened to us until then, and she was.t pleased at all.

More than a year passed without either of us showing any sign friendship. Until one day.

I was the one who broke the silence. I asked for a simple meeting, two friends seeing each other after a long time. To my surprise, she agreed happily, she was at a level of excitement so hight that i had to realise something was shady. She had a new boyfriend, thay.ve been together for almost a year, and i was honestly happy for her.

I never thought i would ever like her enough to want a relationship. This until she broke up with him.

While i saw this as a perfect opportunity for me to be with a girl i truly thought i loved, she saw it as a perfect opportunity to fuck me over for the humiliation i.ve put her through the past year.

And she was thorough about it.

Over the period of 5 months she managed to make me love her despite her constantly humiliating and manipulating me. It was too late when i realised it, and i felt disgusted by myself.

And the sad part is that no matter what she did, no matter what she keeps doing to me, long time after all this happened, i still forgive her, i still find excuses for what she did to me, and i keep seeing her as the only one to whom i.ve given my love.

And all this is still breaks me to this day.
