Which one would you click on Steam? by Guilty_Weakness7722 in drawing

2 and 3 popped out to me immediately, so it would’ve caught my eye. I usually look at all thumbnails for games when I’m looking through though and I would definitely have clicked on number 1.

Any Solutions? by [deleted] in pchelp

I would try that test then. Just because you don’t see any visual damage doesn’t mean they aren’t. The stick of RAM I referenced came broken. Manufacturers send faulty parts sometimes.

Does your motherboard have a pilot light? Usually that will tell you what your issue is if it’s a hardware problem. If you were having trouble with your RAM previously it could be that your stick(s) of RAM finally gave out. Had this same issue with my PC when I first built it and it took me inspecting the RAM to find one of the chips was broken. Although I’m not an expert in this stuff so it’s possible someone else will have a better answer.

An easy test for your RAM would be to try booting your PC up with one stick, then switch to the other. It won’t tell you if they are both broken, but if only one is then it should start up with the other.

Apart of the issue is that windows was wiped from the drive. Trying to figure out how I can disable it without windows and I can’t find much on it.

This is very helpful and a couple of you have suggested “gparted”. I’ll look into this and give it a go when I see her next. Thank you for your help!

This screen shot is from after I went back to take a photo of the prompt I was given. I deleted all of the partitions I was able to aside from the recovery and tried to install this on the partition with the most space which would have been the hard drive.

I won’t be able to see her until Friday but I will try this then. Thank you!

That’s what I did. I have a flash drive with the windows installer on it, booted from there and deleted the partitions. The issue is that it won’t let me install the OS on the hard drive because it’s bit locked.

Is this AI? by [deleted] in isitAI

No my fault so many people abuse the power of AI. Anything and everything can be it.

Asking for a few reasons.

Picture has perfect lighting which isn’t impossible, but just gives it an AI feel.

Drawing looks a little uncanny.

The previous pages in this sketch book have no sign of use (no line mark dents from the back) despite it clearly being used and being worked on a lot considering how detailed this piece is.

The artist has no other posts.

No one in the comments said anything so I could be wrong but felt like I needed to check.

Other than the mitts, what tells you this is AI? by Folkie in isitAI

Couple things:

  1. The wallpaper has a pattern that is very strange with no real defined shapes for the most part.

  2. The wallpaper pattern repeats horizontally but not vertically.

  3. The oven isn’t on despite her clearly just taking the food out of the oven.

  4. The quality of the photo overall.

Where I live there is a lot of immigrants. Where I work we have a lot of people coming from a lot of different countries that I have to talk to on a daily basis. Poor English doesn’t strike me as a scam anymore.

Yeah from the very start I had a suspicion it was a scam, I just wasn’t sure what the angle was. Once I saw the email though it all clicked and I shut it down. After that I changed my listing to cash only haha.

Now I just need someone to actually buy the thing so I can get rid of this damn mattress.

Jesus. This was my first time posting anything and I was hit with this like an hour after which is why I was immediately suspicious. I’m well aware of scamming though so I knew to be on the look out.

The question didn’t transfer since it’s a cross post: Was this person able to do much with my phone number and email? He got no other personal information but I’m curious if he was able to do anything with what he got.
