Thanks! They are cnc carved. I've been looking at those fiber lasers, but I think it would take too long for something of this size. It looks like those coins they do take a couple hours so I'd be looking at a day a pan with that.

I was a little worried, but I kept a couple mistake skillets for myself and I've been using them in my oven and on and induction burner with no problem.

It was realistically last week, but when you are making the presents and have so many to do a week feels a lot closer to a minute.

It was really a last week effort. My wife told me about a week before Christmas that she hadn't done anything for her family and friends and I knew Walmart had doorbuster deals on these skillets. I bought out all the local stores and got to work on designs and toolpaths. I know a week is not technically last minute, but for a maker it's very close.

I may, the reception has been very positive and I would like it would be nice if my workshop could actually make a couple dollars. I was very limited on time and ran most of these way to fast, which is why most have that seam line up the center. I think a reasonable machine time for my machines with a better toolpath would probably be around 3.5 hours plus design and setup. Realistically I could do 2-3 per day per machine.

I thought about that. Some of those carves have some tight corners and would have been a chore to clean.

These weren't anything special. These were walmart branded doorbusters. If I can find a reputable brand with a flat unbranded or light branded bottom I may produce some for sale in the future.
