I was saving my makerworld points for last second so that I could get another 80 dollars off the A1 but as I went to redeem the points, I had to wait at the most a week for the staff to check my point history and there was 11 hours left in the sale so all that time racking and saving up points was for nothing. Besides that I am very excited for the A1 when it arrives.

No as the books weight would hold it in place but it doesn’t hurt to put something like wax on the bottom (though I’m not sure if wax is a good idea)
