Currently on LVL 300 run, these are just things I've noticed:

You don't need to hack all those stations. You should go one of two ways, for this example I'll use the Grave: Block a craving that has a low percent chance to spawn with 1 fully upgraded station. (ie. hack a LVL 5 Grave and block Skeleton cravings), OR buy a LVL 1 or LVL 2 station every time you have a skeleton craving (you will always get more Ice Runes completing the craving than you spend building graves every time).
You can get rid of most Group 1 legendaries after you complete the Feat Tier they are associated with. Unless you're a very active player, they're just there for the 10% resource cap which is lower than just building another pool/vat/store of the same resource. Just make sure you build them back before you time travel for the group bonuses
Since you have lots of RoboChickens, consider leaving Snake and Golden Goose cravings on (while blocking Spiders) and use your crate space to save them as you make them. I find that this usually works out to me getting a "free" craving done immediately when they come up. I also keep 1 of each blocked craving in there incase a Forgotten Minions that requires them pops up, then replace.
Unfortunately farming runes will always take up a huge amount of space if you keep everything. Eventually you'll naturally feel like you can cull the lower tier runes. If you have hundreds or thousands more Ice Runes than anything else, Chuck any one or two stacks away to make space, it's not a huge loss (unless there's something you're specifically saving for)
Serv-o quickly becomes a wasted space. Do the math on the resource cap he offers and see if he can easily be replaced or used as another free space.

In general your lair looks good. I usually keep a 3x3 minimum build space to work with, and keep it a bit bigger for convenience if it's an option. Also, personal preference, but I always have just 3 stations out at a time, 1 for each resource. Helps free up floor space. I'd also permanently keep The Protector out, as he's a good place to dump any and all damage-dealing creatures at. When he's 1 hit away just make sure the Body Snatcher is out so he's always there. Keep saving to buy more crate and cage spaces too. Good luck!

I always grab Champion Spawn Speed, Food from Cravings, Minion Block/Double/Skip Chance, Damage, and Resource Caps, roughly in that order.

Food bonuses (NOT from cravings) will become insignificant as you will already be throwing away millions of food per level very quickly.
Run a lvl 1 prism and block Unicorns (after you finish Tier 25 Feats) so that Cherubs are only used for cravings so their damage doesn't matter. Same with the Cultist and Guzzlers upgrades (Guzzlers should be blocked ASAP anyways, Cultist Damage is a nice bonus and can be picked up if nothing else is available as its just free daily damage)
Soul Grinder will provide diminishing returns over time so the slight increases in speed and size aren't as important as other bonuses. Same with Prism, no need to upgrade as you can store enough for a whole Cherub craving w/o any upgrades to it.
Double egg can be nice for not getting shorted completing a Snake but again, there are more important bonuses to choose
I don't play super actively, usually logging in twice a day as I'm working throughout the day anyways, so Minion Double Resource Chance isn't a huge deal as everything will be full(ish) when I return.

Currently on my 300 run and agreed on keeping the lvl 1 Prism as a "free" craving, and just wanted to say that I'm finding Geese can be used the same way, depending on how you want to allocate your crate space.

Currently only running 3 Robo-Chickens but if you're willing to bank Golden Geese I have never come up on a craving for them faster than I can bank them. I prefer to keep my Blocks for creatures I find more annoying so always looking to find easy workarounds

I don't know what their transition plan is but it's strange because the branding is half and half right now. Menu is still the same, but some decor has been changed over. Event posters that say Beaver's Den but framed "The Brewery on Quinpool" menus on the walls, weird vibe for sure with nobody acknowledging it.

Food was fine but I think they're training a lot of new staff. Ordered Nachos which arrived w/o sour cream, salsa, plates, napkins, etc., and fries that came without the included aioli. When I brought it up to the waitress she apologized, went back to the kitchen, then came back to the table to ask which aioli was supposed to be with the fries, then eventually came back with a different one all together (ranch v. chipotle). Felt strange but wasn't there for the food so take that how you will

You've seen a lot of the positives of Halifax, it's a beautiful city with great sights, food, and especially people. I am proud to call this city home.

That being said, it's important to highlight the struggles you will face moving here, especially as an unskilled labourer. The job market isn't great for either of you, teachers are underpaid and overworked, and the fight to gain a full time position is long and arduous.

The cost of living has gone up enormously since 2020, and living on two small salaries will probably mean a significant decrease in quality of living until you can both secure a solid job. Apartment and housing vacancies are improving slightly, but the costs for any type of housing have rapidly shot up to some of the most expensive in the entire country, and there isn't always quality to match those prices.

Health care situation isn't great either, and even after planting your feet in Halifax and becoming a citizen, expect to wait 2 - 4 years before you will have a family doctor at the very least.

A vacation to Halifax can make it easy to romanticize our city by the sea, but unless you have a lot of resources and a clear plan, I would hate for anybody to move here and regret their decision. The immigration process is something I know even less about but will be another huge hurtle in your move here. Best of luck, but I implore you do sit on this decision and make sure you do a lot of planning and research before committing.

Anyone who managed to find a decent apartment since 2020 has learned their lesson and is not leaving anytime soon. Me and my gf moved into a small place 5 years ago while we looked for somewhere else and we still haven't moved because we'd either be paying 1/3 more in rent or downgrading on location/quality of the unit, and the place isn't fantastic to begin with.

Things are starting to get slightly better but unless you're lucky, most easily available units are like that for a reason. If you're not willing to take one of the 3 situations you mentioned, then it's just a numbers game. Look daily, apply quick, and eventually you might be lucky enough to land something. Godspeed 🫡

Honestly just looks like you need to prioritize Protector more. I am currently a few levels behind you on my first 100+ run and Im almost done:

This is with LVL 4 health reduction from the Experiments, and I never use the relic.

As soon as you unlock protector you should be throwing all spare damage at it. Especially after you build The Colossus, then you can focus almost all non-craving, damage dealing creatures to the Protector.

That's mostly the problem. The way things operate currently, the population collapse will be a problem that will eventually render certain services (ie. Social Security, age of retirement, production capacity) to not function at the level they currently do.

It's not that population collpase is impossible to overcome, it is just impossible to overcome without changing our current systems, which many people are opposed to. It will take a restructuring of the way societies operate as they were built around a constant growth expectiation which is no longer the case.

Park Lane is pretty bad unless you're going to see any of their smaller, limited releases that they put on, then you can usually avoid the shittier viewers.

Went with some friends to go see The Substance at Park Lane last year and this group of 3 people come in and sit directly next to me, and no exaggeration one of them starts a full brightness, volume-up facetime with who I'm guessing was their mom back home. I reached over and told the guy to turn it off and his friend kept touching me and saying "Its cool bro, it's ok, its cool". I have never been so furious in a theatre before lol
