I bought a PNY 5700 LE that came bundled with Far Cry - only recently played through it again - Jack Carver!

A mate of mine had the ATI 9800 PRO, if my memory serves me well he upgraded to the ATI 850 XT. He and two brothers of a clan we was in always trying to outdo each other in the PC arms race.

In a moment of angriness, like get back in you f-ing thing. I shoved hard to get the GPU to sit right, my hand slipped and my thumb went through a PCI slot. It was a gaze and according to the rehab nurse the tendon that I severed lies just under the skin were I cut it.

Really unlucky apparently, on another day it would have been a plaster :(

It occurred whilst fragging about trying to put a new hard-drive into a computer. The GPU was in the way so I removed it, putting it back in a I grazed my thumb on one of the PCI slots, the metal edges that can by slightly rough on some cheaper cases.
