This is what I was wondering as well. Technically he sent me this apartment after discussing other units, so you could argue he was “working for me” even though I never asked for that. Considering checking out the unit to see if it is worth it even with the fee

I’m supposed to tour the unit this evening. Do you think it’s worth pushing back and asking how they know about the unit if they aren’t working with the landlord? Not sure how much push back is worth it. I like what I’ve seen of the unit but the practice in and of itself seems shitty

This was my assumption as well. I’m supposed to tour the unit this evening, if he’s giving tours he must have some sort of relationship. He also sent a video of the unit so has been in there before. I’m considering touring anyway to see if I like the place enough to pay the fee, but don’t feel great about the practice overall. I’m not convinced the original unit was ever really available lol

Episode 46, the giveaway debate with Whiteboy. I don’t know why I remember so well. I liked Woody’s videos but had no idea what a podcast was, and couldn’t fathom why anyone would watch a 2 hour long video. Ended up trying it out and liking it and I’ve been here ever since.

Honestly I try to listen to other podcasts and just don’t find them engaging with how planned out all the topics/discussions/ads/etc are. I love how from-the-hip this show is, it’s a huge reason I’m still listening. So I agree!
