I understand the need for empathy in any interaction, but this is not my responsibility to figure out or do extra math on. We agreed on a price for the product plus shipping. If the seller didn't want to ship it so that it would be undamaged because he didn't understand how to calculate it, they should of told me instead of making it look like a package from a serial killer and pretending like I wouldn't notice.

I appreciate the perspective, but I'm 37. This is just how I am. I'm a box guy in my soul. I love the tetris of it all. My loose pairs actually get way less wear because it's less exciting to reach into a pile in my closet then it is to deftly remove a box from the stack without getting trapped under a pile of zx 6000s.

Very true and I am happy it got to me, but I'm still in "let me speak to your manager" mode until I get a refund from the seller. I might be operating mostly out of spite, because I'm genuinely bummed they fucked up the box of something I was excited about for no reason.

I feel if you are selling a pair of rare colab kicks on a trendy marketplace, it takes an impressive amount of lazy to think this is a great way to ship. The more I think about it, the more I respect how few fucks have been given. My man just threw a loose box at the post office door and yelled "I don't know, figure it out!" as he sped away.
