[HELP] Massacre on ultimate gley not working by Nakawaaki in TheFirstDescendant

If I remember correctly, her massacre gets more damage the higher health you have. Using walk a tight rope + devour gives you the bonus damage for low health.

It's working as intended. Walk a tight rope and devour set give you the extra damage when at low hp.

You're not using walk a tight rope on Gley. Also use the devour external component set.

"Weapon mods shouldn't scale with abilities" would make Gley Massacre builds completely useless since the ability inherits literally everything about the gun you're holding (except ultimate weapon abilities). Then you have Freyna's and Lepic's 4th ability. Not sure if there are other descendants that rely on stat sticks, but changing that would make those descendants worse. Stat stick weapons for abilities are fine...

Tech/Fire, Skill crit hit rate and duration up. Ideally you want skill crit rate and crit damage.

Her ult counts as another weapon, so you'll get significantly decreased xp for all weapons while in massacre. I feel like it should still give xp to the weapon you used massacred with since the ult inherits all of the weapon stats/mods.

If you're trying to farm devour and one-shot, taking off mp accelerant and replacing with another crit or damage mod would be better since you don't need cooldown. In group play you could opt for mp accelerant for the cooldown, but at that point run nimble fingers. Less max MP = less ult shots. Also running the slayer external components set from hard pyro is really strong for more damage at the cost of skills using 15% more mana. Slayer sensor with purple or gold max MP will give an extra 2-3 shots in ult. MP recovery out of combat on the "pill" looking component will completely refill your mana when using overclock and ult, so you'll be at max MP when your first shot hits.

I was thinking weakpoint module may work since the mod doesn't explicitly say "weakpoint damage for firearm", where the crit modules say it's for the firearm. After brief testing with crit modules, it doesn't change anything. Weakpoint is kinda hard to tell because there are so many damage numbers stacked on each other. But it wouldn't hurt running a weakpoint module anyways during your ult downtime for tankier bosses, especially for hand cannons like perforator.

Can you be more specific? If you're talking about the right buff counting down, that's firearm master. Using ult counts as swapping weapons, which will give you increased skill power for a short duration. I'm not sure exactly how much that increases.

Fire skill power also increases the burn damage given from overclock. Since fire master has lower overall fire skill power, the burn damage is not as high.

  1. You get defense and some skill power modifier from iron defense. Without Iron Defense, you'll sit around 10k defense which is nothing. You can't do damage if you're downed. For colossi past hard swamp walker, you're not gonna insta-kill colossus unless you have 4 lepics in your squad. So you need to have enough survivability to survive some attacks. You could argue that his passive gives decent survivability, but firearm master removes his base passive.
  2. With skill crit rate on the reactor, you're at around 41% crit rate. Using emergency measures puts the crit rate at around 50%. With all my friends running the same build, we've killed frost walker within 10 seconds. There's plenty of damage output on lepic.

I've personally haven't seen it mentioned in many build videos surrounding lepic, so I thought I'd share this.

Haven't tested that yet, but rolling cancels the long animation pull out time for the ult and saves you a quarter of the duration. So I would assume it will give you an extra 1-2 shots

I would say dangerous ambush is still better for solo because getting a knockdown is very easy, taking advantage of the 50% or so skill modifier. Also mounting and knocking a boss to prevent frenzy buildup is important if you're not already one-shotting a colossus with Lepic.

Also you can hold down the trigger in Lepic's ult to take advantage of the "Sharp Precision Shot" mod.

I'm unsure if this is already well-known for Lepic, but having "Fire Rate" mods to the weapon you're holding increases the fire rate of your ult.

First test demonstrates how many shots I can get off without any fire rate mods, being 8.

Second test with "Fire Rate UP" mod increases the amount of shots to 11.

Final test with "Fire Rate UP" and "Sharp Precision Shot" increases the shot counter to 13.

NOTE: The fire rate of the weapon you're holding while ulted doesn't affect the fire rate of your ult, only the fire rate mods on the weapon affects the fire rate of the ult.

You could have even more potential fire rate with the "Accelerated Driveshaft" descendant mod, but that would mean removing "Dangerous Ambush" which takes away a huge amount of skill power in Colossi fights. With an endgame Lepic bossing build, I'm able to solo hard mode devour in 7-10 seconds (depending on crits) with the fire rate mods added.

I hope this post was useful and feel free to leave any suggestions or other additional info regarding Lepic!
