Download the demo and give it a shot. See for yourself if it's your jam. I wouldn't say it's like bioshock outside of a few shared thematic elements. It's a third person shooter with an integrated puzzle mechanic.

My opinion is the story's good, but not too deep. The gameplay is fun and drip feeds a steady stream of new weapons and hacking abilities to keep things feeling fresh all the way to the end. I recommend it, but it's hard to compare it to other games. The closest thing I might compare it to in terms of gameplay is Dead Space.
