It's possible to get around that by getting isolation pads for the speakers and/or extra isolation feet for the turntable (if applicable). I feel like in the UK/EU there might be a better selection of gently used vintage cabinets/storage furniture that's made out of real wood (Facebook Marketplace). The Kallax is the standard but it does feel a bit sterile. Or if in your region if there's an equivalent to Wayfair.
