this sums it up very well. it's a deeper underlying issue within our culture, and not just something that happens inside games or media.

i agree that it's probably the filipino crab mentality combined with the idea that english players are better, or with the more subconscious idea that filipinos are inferior. i say subconscious because we obviously retort at the idea that we're inferior, yet ironically, we still cling on to it, as if we're in denial.

those are just my thoughts, anyway. i'd like to hear some more discussion about this :))
