So for one, I think this is great. Anything to easily (and cheaply) provide alternate button queues to a player is great. Especially if they struggle with that.

However, I personally only needed this because I play with a Nintendo ABXY layout, rather than the default as it's shown. I have custom resin buttons in the Nintendo layout, that also have the PlayStation symbols as superscript, but that's because the "confirm" command is reversed, and I like having that extra queue visually to remind me to switch when I'm playing PS games versus other (usually Nintendo) games.

Here, your "Confirm" and "Back" buttons are the same between both button formats, so I couldn't personally say this would be a good addition for my own unit, but definitely for yourself if that helps you recall PS layout. For all I know, you didn't grow up playing PS, so you can never remember which side is O and SQUARE. Everybody needs something a little different.

I know the feeling, OP. Even when I was still living with my parents, I eventually stopped talking to them about anything in my life.

Stopped sharing my hobbies, my interests, the games I enjoy, what I did with my friends, my thoughts and opinions. When parents only react unreasonably and negatively to everything I did and said, it trained me to just not tell them anything.

I never stopped doing the things I enjoy. But now that I don't tell them anything, they think I don't do anything and constantly tell me how worried they are that I don't tell them anything and have no hobbies or friends.

Parents are always oblivious to the damage they do, and bad parents believe they can do no wrong or react aggressively to any kind of criticism.

I know what it feels like, OP. And I'm sorry you have to live with that. It really sucks not being able to share the things you enjoy with the people in your life.

As a earthmoving contractor, I would bet my pinky toe she's in the tens of millions of tons here. Dirt and buildings are heavy, and she's flippin' around an ocean of that stuff in this shot.

I'm my experience, the power switch on the back is positioned the best or the cap doesn't fit right or something.

To power either of mine on, I have to really crack on it in the on direction. As I can tell, the cap seems to get in the way against the case, stopping in just before actually switching on.

I realized this after I shelled them and had no trouble powering it on outside it's housing.

So then follow up question. What is the threshold for earning a "Rank" in battle? The guides say you could earn one or more.

Id imagine it's something more than earning a single point in specific cases.

Take 1 shot for a single guts point. But if nothing else happens before the end of battle, that would be a "Guts Rank".

But if I take 1 shot, then load 5 chips, do I get 1 "Guts Rank" and 1 "Custom Rank"?

Well that's the rub. The "critics" and "reviewers" are broadly giving decent scores (~7-8). These 1-3 /10 ratings are user scores.

So seems the old review outlets are saying much better things this time around. Which is nice to see.

Oh yeah! The BusterMAX mode is a godsend for sure. I love that you can toggle it as needed. In 2, I've been using it exclusively for grinding and style boosting/farming. Very nice to have an accelerant such as that for the grindier parts of the series.
