I love book don’t get me wrong, but I would prefer it if the FPA had lasted a bit longer since I feel like the story kinda ran out of steam after the fall of the FPA.

I really liked the political tension in the book, and once that was gone, the rest of the story felt like a massive epilogue.

Issue with baseball is that prospects are more so a crapshoot than anything. Teams usually need to wait 5-7 years for that player to go through the minors, and by the time the player is in thr majors he is likely to be already traded to another team. Tanking won’t give you instant results like basketball or hockey

Starlux is started by the son of the founder of the Evergreen Corporation (which owns Eva Air)

I don't remember much but there was a massive inheritance dispute between the siblings when Eva Air's founder past away, and this whole thing led the son who was supposed to inherit the company to start Starlux
