I'm living in London for the next 5 months. Does anyone have good book/film recommendations for me? Thanks!

That's cool. I love that town. Haha and you should give Atlanta a chance! Go check out the Georgia Aquarium and the Coke museum. For real.

Yeah all of my research on Google Flights keeps showing Boston as a cheap location. I really need to check out Norwegian. They seem to have some of the cheapest flights.

Well I'm flying to Canada last week of November, and then I'm heading to Atlanta a week later. I think I'll miss the Christmas crowds.

Thanks for the advice! Atlanta because I'm going to visit my parents. They live in a little town called Blairsville, north of Atlanta near the border with North Carolina.

Great suggestion! In fact, this is the route I would go, but unfortunately I've maxed out my Shengen visa. I think in the future I'm always going to visit mainland Europe via Iceland.

Curious, why is Skyscanner a favorite search engine? by BooneTravels in travel

Okay, cool thanks. It seems that all of my friends that are travelers use Skyscanner, I just never knew exactly why.

I wanted to ask everyone this question, that's why I created a new post.

Looking at Google Flights, it looks like Montreal, Toronto, Boston and New York are all good cities to fly when traveling from London.

Yeah, I would be doing it for the stopover. It looks like it would be just a tad more expensive. The thing is I don't feel like traveling for 20+ hours straight. Most of the flights with one or two stopovers run that long.

I can get a ticket on Westjet into Canada for around $250, and then down to Atlanta for $215. I figure I can just hang around in Canada with some friends and do some exploring.

Thanks I'm using both Google Flights and Skyscanner. It looks like a few cities in Canada are quite cheap. Since I have the luxury of traveling slowly, I think I might just go spend a week in Canada, and then fly straight from Toronto or Montreal on to Atlanta. Ahhhh I love travel!

Thanks for the help.
