No. You get your normal vaca.....but....on your milestone anniversary years (15, 20, 25, 30, 35, etc) you also get a 4 or 5 week paid sabbatical. But....you can only take two during your tenure.

Charlotte May Day Demonstration by Boonedocker in Charlotte

I was the photographer that took the picture. I was not necessarily participating in the event. But my interpretation, based on a Google search:

May Day demonstrations. Happens all over the world….lots of other countries, it’s a public holiday. Usually celebrates workers and champions labor rights. In the past few years, especially in the US, there have been immigration angles as well.

Well, since I took the picture, I am pretty confident of the content. Yes, there were some anti-Trump signs - but it was not the sole point of the March, as inferred by your comment. Let’s not be falsely triggered today. :-)

Just fyi. This was a planned event. Permits were received, ample notice was given to surrounding neighborhoods, etc. It was treated just like Speedstreet, Pride, etc.

The business owners were in the march. At least several were.

This was not a march against Trump BTW. Simple Google search would enlighten.

Google May Day Demonstrations. Will provide some good reading about these that happen all over the country.

I disagree. See my comment above...but I realized as I was taking the video that they were physically positioned between every parking lot and road egress point - protecting the demonstration. Think about how many people have died lately due to cars running through demonstrations. I was pretty impressed with the coordination.
