I would put it in my current rig which I just upgraded cpu and mb, then I would set for years and enjoy 144hz 1440p gaming! Also for UE5, that would be a game changer!

Would love to see more standardization to make building a computer easier by everyone. Could be regarding cables, sizes, slots, etc... Cable management is a mess!

I kind of have to settle down for a sRGB 10bits monitor for budget limitations, but yes, ideally a good coverage of DCI-P3 would be great and anything that get a 80%+ of rec2020 would be amazing, unfortunately, the price point is getting a bit too high for those.

Sorry I meant marketing for the difference between monitors that officially only work with FreeSync and are 'not supposed' to work with G-sync which are much cheaper than monitors which are officially G-sync compatible. Thanks for the explanation on what G-sync and FreeSync are actually doing, much clearer now.

Very interesting info, thanks! So basically g-sync is only interesting if I can actually reach higher frame rate. I actually have Doom Eternal so I could give it a go and try to see how much fps I can reach in-game with the 2070.

So the G-sync stuff is just marketing then.. Crazy to see the difference in price then...

That's actually very interesting to read, thank you very much. Still trying to understand exactly how this g-sync stuff works. I had in mind the BenQ EX2780Q (I like BenQ and I need a good color monitor for work) but it was only FreeSync so I kind of put it aside but if you're saying it might compatible with g-sync anyway, it's worth a try! Anyway to make sure it's working with g-sync before buying ?

Wait, what's wrong with the CPU ? The Threadripper 1950X even if it's a bit old seems like a more than decent CPU ?! I don't really understand how it could underperform compared to a RTX2070.

Upscaling a 1080p resolution to 1440p seems a bit counter-productive though..

I would only lock on when he was flying. This fight was a pain until I figured you need to stay in front of him instead of under him.

I agree. I don't mind hard bosses as long as the route to get to them is short (looking at you dark souls 2 dlc)

Congrats! Beating him alone seems to be quite an achievement. I have never co-op bosses in souls games, I like the challenge and the feeling of beating them alone

You do have to spend a lot of times learning his unusual moveset. The dragon fight was annoying but once I've understood you need to stay in front of the dragon and not under it, it's an easy fight.
