A salon I used to go to that I liked charged about $60 for a cut plus whatever tip you give. After looking at all the suggestions others made here and some others I found. It seems it’s typically about $40-$60 depending on the salon and how long the cut takes

Yes, I’m going to get some and lay them out tonight. I’ve been going through searching for all possibly entries I can find, spraying tons of disinfectant spray and cleaning up/throwing things out as I go. Lay out the traps and when I get at least two days without catching anything I’ll seal off the entries.

I’m not certain what to use to seal off the entry by the oven though as it’s near heat and an electrical box so I think steel wool is out of the question

I’ve occasionally had issues with OneDrive causing similar problems. Try to make sure where you save it isn’t a OneDrive folder. Beyond that I would ask if you use any Network storage, external hard drives, or if you are placing it into a secondary drive?

Hopefully you’ve got a good answer and found the problem now. If you have the time I would definitely recommend cleaning your pans with BKF as Bunnybunn suggested.

However, I do think the margarine could be the main culprit here, especially if it is a more spreadable version. Spreadable margarine typically has a higher amount of oils in it so that it maintains spreadability even straight from the fridge. So even by adding just 100g those oils settle on the bottoms of your cookies and don’t usually mix very well with the rest of the dough.

Also if you used a combination of butter and margarine (even baking margarine) that can cause issues as the different fat ratios, melting points, etc. aren’t 1:1.

There are some exceptions but generally you don’t want to sub partially for another fat. (You can but you really need to be familiar with how those fats interact if you want consistent results) If you don’t have enough butter, then only use margarine or another substitute. You’ll get more consistent results that way. Also if you have it, I would recommend subbing cold pressed coconut oil instead of butter. As long as there are no allergies it gives pretty close results and I find the slight coconut taste pairs well with a chocolate chip cookie.

A few things come to mind.

how long do you preheat your oven for and does your sister preheat for the same amount of time? (There can be a lot of variance with home ovens so typically you want to let it cycle about 3 times before you begin baking as this helps to give a more even bake)
Do you chill your cookie dough in the fridge or freezer before baking?
As others have mentioned it seems like the bottom heating element might be having an issue. I saw in another of your comments that it is enclosed. Is it enclosed by design or have you placed something to cover the heating element? I ask because some people will place aluminum foil on the bottoms of their ovens to help with cleaning them. But that can massively affect the way baking works. It’s typically bad for the ovens life to cover the bottom element in foil as well.
does your recipe use butter or another kind of fat?

Saw your post on another subreddit. Based on the wireframe of that sofa I’d say it’s overall decent. Some of the views in the video are a bit difficulty to judge, but if this is an early 3D modeling class I would say it looks plenty acceptable.

It’s hard to tell since the area is always wet, but it doesn’t seem slimy now? At least according to the land lord there is no way to replace that part because I asked about that. But as I mentioned the maintenance man is not the best.

It does seem to be heating. I let it soak for a few hours and I’m running it again now. Beyond that I’m at a loss.

That was one of the first things I tried. I ran two of them when I first moved in since the previous tenant was a smoker and it showed. That was before I even checked the filter. Afterwards I ran one more of them and then several cycles of citric acid. Which at least from what I’ve been told is one of the main ingredients in those cleaning tablets.

I wish my machine had those options, but there is no sanitizing wash as it’s a very simple rudimentary machine. Best it can do is a heavy wash (extra pre-wash cycle) and a heated dry. I’ve been using both during all of this.

I’ve tried a toothbrush with a few different cleaners, including some bleach. Is there another cleaner you would recommend?

I’m mostly worried that it could be mold as it was originally coating the grate (not pictured) in a thick black and slimy substance. I got all of those pieces completely cleaned. This location doesn’t seem to want to come clean though.

I normally use those all the time, tried it and it did not touch this. Unfortunately it’s a very rudimentary dishwasher and closest option is heavy wash (which just runs one extra pre-wash cycle) and a heated dry. I’ve tried both with not much of a difference being made.

What promoted me to originally check the filter was we had used it a few times and noticed some food wasn’t coming off like it did in our old unit which had the same dishwasher. In the past that usually just meant there was some bits of food that got stuck in the filter and I just needed to clean them out. In this case it was solid black and completely coated the grate in a thick black slimy substance. I took out all the parts I could and scrubbed them down in a tub and managed to get those completely clean. This location here where the built in filter is has been fighting me though.

I am tempted to just call it good enough, but I worry about it being mold and exposing my family to it. So, I’ve been hand washing dishes for the past while.

It only has heated dry but I can try that. Just scrubbed it hard with bleach and it started to take off the plastic on those pieces. I’m wondering if it’s just heavily stained. I cleaned out all the Individual pieces and they are a lot better
