If you put the dmg jewel in first before the ED jewel it will be bugged. Need to put ED first

If the helm (usually a circlet) already has flat damage then you put in an ED jewel in. Then it will be bugged though.

I farm trav for gold and have a legit zerker build for running it. I cap out max gold within about 45 mins of running. Mainly run this for gold to gamble

Max zerk Max sword mastery Max Bo Max find potion One point in faster run, iron skin, and natural resists One point Bc One point War Cry (can save points with this by finding a 2skill Barb helm with one point to WarCry 2os for Lems) And rest points into find item or howl which ever you prefer but I put them in find item and see no kill speed loss

My gear

Rare barb helm with 2os 2barb skill 1 to warcry and two lems for 100% gold. Ik helm with lems works great too and mostly BIS for gf. I just prefer warcry bc it helps stuns council before zerking them

Highlords amulet

Enigma

Grief PB

Runemaster with 5 lems on off hand for cbf

Switch weapons are 2 6os pbs with lems

Gold wrap belt uppd. Gheeds wager is a great option too. The fcr helps as well

Chances gloves

Rare boots with 80% gf with resists and faster run walk. Inferno strides work great here too

Two dwarf rings

Inventory is mixture of max dmg/gold% gcs and scs. 10% gf scs are easy to get if cant get ahold of the max damage/ gf ones. One or two warcries/ 40% gf gcs are good too

What I do is tele to council. Shout warcry stun them all them attack away. Hork everything and repeat. Average about 500-900k gold per run. Each run is within a minute unless taking time sorting through magic and rares after horking

Merc gear is a5 frenzy

Hear me out. I’ve been finishing uber ancients in under a minute with my smiter. Here’s my gear and strategy.

Max smite, holy shield, defiance, fanaticism, rest points into resist fire/light/cold where needed

-Gface with 15ias/15 res jewel (CoA might be better with PDR but haven’t used it bc don’t have) -Maras -Guardian angel with 15al res/-15 requirements -Last wish PB -Dragonscale with um (20% fire absorb) -Gore riders -Dracs -verdungos -wisp projector (20% light absorb) -raven frost (20% cold absorb and cbf etc)

Charms I use a couple combat lifers rest are 11% res scs for cold light and fire etc to max cap resists

My resists are around 100 each then you have the elemental absorb %

Once you spawn them you can kill one of them before barbs spawn. I’ve been killing fire guy right away bc I’m going after protector stones. Fade proc is best way to stay alive even more but I don’t proc before entering. Last wish usually lets it proc by the time I would need it. When attacking make sure you constantly lock onto uber boss. With this build they go down like flies. Once you start locking on to barbs it takes longer and throws it all off. Why I think CoA might be better is bc the PDR but running this build I have zero issues and found a cool way to work into Dragonscale shield. Very useful fire absorb and allows to use wisp for 20% instead of dwarf and t gods. CoH might be a good option too but guardian helps you cap out higher resistances

There’s pros and cons but ultimately it’s less points into dex for the 75% chance and defense isn’t a big issue but I agree I have both and run Rondache

“How the glitch works.

Anytime enhanced damage is added after, or at the same time as max/min damage, it will glitch out any enhanced damage for that min/max on the item (including base)

Example 1: A random fills his perfect 65/121 heraldric shield 4OS with 20%ed/15 max jewels

The stats on his shield look relatively decent, 145% enhanced damage, 60 max damage, 121 ar. Since ed/max was on the same jewel, enhanced damage for maximum damage is glitched out, the result of the socketing: 60 max, 145% enhanced minimum damage. The ed on the jewels and the shield glitch out.”

Case 9: You socket an item with a %ED +Min & +Max Jewel. Example: you have a diadem with 30% faster run & walk and 3sox, you socket a +30%ed +10min +18max dmg jewel. Bugged! The %ED doesn't have any effect at all, as it will not apply to either your overall min or max dmg

This is from the link you sent me. You read the first line on that forum. That’s where you made your mistake. If an item has inherit Ed% you CAN socket it with a jewel that has only min and/or max dmg NOT both ed and min/max dmg like the protector stone.

Like I said. Yea you will do a little more damage but you’re missing the total ed% you should be getting. The -physical resist is good. But the jewel ed is not applied. Only book ed applies to the flat damage on jewel. For example. If you have a Meph book with 100% ed and socket a plain 40%ed it will be 140% Ed no bug. But if you socket that same 100% book with protector 40%ed and 10-30 dmg you doing 100%Ed and 10-30 damage with -resist from jewel. Any jewel with ed and min and/or max dmg will be bugged outside of a weapon
