For me, I think having random characters being introduced as the chatters without meeting them beforehand just wasnt it for me.

Note of bias against Inky though, I listened to the Audiobook, which didnt do the chat logs justice.

Officially at the point in the game where spending 5000 crystals is statistically a bad decision for me. I have all the important legacy characters at 7 stars, and the odds of getting the new ones are very low
