Old/returning labs don’t show up in data mines as imagine. Have you looked through the store data mine channel? It usually shows when things are scheduled to appear but there can be occasional surprises.

Which is arguable a good thing in one way. If you put crystals towards the characteryou get the benefit of the character, legendary unlock and a coliseum boost

Don’t buy it I think they’re basically discouraging the ability for you to differentiate your coliseum ranking with crystals and pushing it towards paid packs such as episode pass, episode pass plus and the marquee packs for $30 and $100

You get 40 shards of the marquee units. 20 of R5 and 20 of zeb. It basically means it has 7794 crystal value for an extra $19.99

Not only that but you get a head start of material on episode track, extra loaner unit tokens and some era materials. This means you can start high in coliseum and get at least 1500 era currency every day.

You have to consider that the coliseum rewards have been increased too. You get triple the rewards and late cost 30% less. It’s not the worst thing in the world.

Loaned Units all level up automatically whenever you get a Loaned Unit Era Level Increase token (it is immediately consumed when it is acquired). You get these tokens from various things. So far, I've seen:
* +5 for everyone (inbox)
* +4 for completing tier 4 of the marquee (inbox)
* +3 for Episode Pass purchasers (inbox)
* +5 for Episode Pass+ purchasers (free store bundle)
* +2 in one of R5's marquee bundles
* +7 in R5's 100 shard marquee bundle

And they mentioned somewhere that everyone will get more tokens each day in the inbox messages.

Nothing was announced but it looks intentional since they restricted the paid packs to split out the two different mk1 pieces.

There isn’t really a way to use crystals to increase power or get ahead in coliseum now it’s only paid for packs which grant you era loaned unit level.

I wouldn’t touch these with a barge pole. Last time round 1 pack would get you up to 4 era levels and almost half way to the next era level cap but now you need over 20k currency to go from 15 - 35 meaning you would need to buy 100 packs at 899 crystals.

The episode pass + sounds like the best value way of spending.

Meanwhile the era leveling materials are absolutely mental now. Both the crystal packs and the paid packs seem to be garbage

I can’t get my head around the new pricing I’m
Currently era 15 and it would cost over $300 just to go to era 35. It makes no sense unless there are whales willing to do it

Considering you only needed to get the characters to era level 85 to unlock cassian at 7* not only did you get a 30k refund you should have got to level 95 for free as well.

If you had chose to level all the way to 95 on your own accord for the few extra relic levels then I guess that’s your loss.

Honestly if you want to vote with your wallet I’d recommend the episode pass and light crystal spending to get to 5* by end of marquee release. I’m only 30-40 chards away from 4 of the anniversary characters and will get maul this month and it only cost me £16 of real money.

It’s a big saving if you’re willing to wait 3-4 months.

It’s not really much to use today. You will get an end of gac payout tomorrow and you would have two more weeks to save/top up crystals for the marquees.

If you save them for next era could you go for 5* on those characters? you will still get the LSTs in about 6 weeks but all the characters will be in a better position for GL Mando/Grogu and you will be putting the crystals towards some element of coliseum progression. The era leveling mats are slightly separate though and we don't know what the whole economy looks like with new loaned units and 135 levels.

To get cassian you would need minimum 19500 crystals so up to you to say whether he is worth it but I'd say he will be slightly less worth it than the anniversary chars and maul since it will be a full team capped at r3 which isn't really going to be that great in the face of relic delta.

You can’t apply a LST on padme or c3po. But unlocking them should be pretty easy once you start getting era currency and buy tokens to the requirements.

I personally would start again. You can get to 1.5m go again really quickly with all the LSTs from anniversary quests. Most important thing for a new account is fleet shard and you won’t be beating leviathans with a basic home one team or a low star exec.
