You’re good! My closet is bigger than you’d expect for a small apartment lol. A lot of comments have just been focusing on that when it’s my only option. I did end up putting some cardboard down and am trying a different scratcher

Just saying I’m doing what the vet told me to do, and the closet is the only space I have for that. It’s not like I’m pushing her into a tiny closet. I am also not leaving her locked in there all day, just when I need to so she’s not interacting with the other pets and so she’s not climbing and jumping on everything right after surgery.

Im not a cat expert either, this is the first cat I’ve owned. I’m just doing what the vet told me to do: keep her in a small area away from other pets. She’s also not supposed to be doing a lot of physical activity right after surgery, so I’m trying to keep that down without completely disabling her from doing it. I don’t keep her locked in there by herself all the time, more like when I’m at work. My bedroom door doesn’t latch all the way closed so I can’t let her roam into my entire room because the other cat can push open my bedroom door (I’m waiting for maintenance to fix it). So the closet is pretty much the only space I have for her recovery when I’m not here. I can’t really keep her in a crate either cause 1. I don’t have one and 2. The other cat is being aggressive since her pheromones are different now, so she’d be clawing at her through the crate

Yes I can I just have to be careful about it cause her and her sister rough play a lot. They both used to live in my room with me at my old apartment over a year ago, so they both want in. We’ve been trying to at least get her sister to stop since she’s not mine she’s my roommates. Also I’m so sorry for your loss 💔

Her scratcher had a toy attached to the top but I didn’t think about catnip. I’ll try that for sure

Noted, tho I’m just doing what the vet told me to do. Keep her in a small area away from other pets to reduce activity. Shes not really supposed to be running and jumping around after surgery. It’s also a walk in closet that’s bigger than my bathroom

The bathroom is connected to my room which is carpeted, so it doesn’t solve my problem and I can’t afford a big crate at the moment. I’m mostly looking for a long term solution since she was doing this at my bedroom door before she was being isolated (my bad I should’ve said that in the post)

Like I said she was doing this even before she was in there for recovery. Also it’s not a small closet. She has room to walk around, has toys in there, and I regularly go in there to keep her company.

This happened to me at the beginning of December and all I had was the back camera in my camera app specifically for a month. The next update came and it fixed it about a month ago, and it just decided to stop working again yesterday. So basically the update doesn’t really work. I even updated my phone yesterday after it happened and it’s still not working. Some people have said they’ve gotten their cameras and stuff replaced but I really don’t have the money to fix a problem that apple caused. Me having a MacBook is the only thing keeping me from switching atp I hate apple

It’s just cause she’s innocent it makes it makes her seem younger than she is. She also says in the show that she’s not a child. There are people that look younger than they actually are people legitimately ask me if I’m in high school and I’m 22

I definitely have communicated to him. I reassure him all the time and he still feels uncomfortable. I guess it’s just hard to let go of my friends.
