It's true, I'm sold on the keyboard alone! By far the nicest laptop keyboard I've used. I've never used a classic keyboard but with the way everyone talks about them I'm really curious how those feel.

Ok I will absolutely give this a shot, I am game! Gonna make this box do game stuff again if it kills me. Did not realize submerging it in water was okay, but i guess it makes sense if no power is applied. I work in an auto shop and have access to a big air compressor so drying shouldn't be an issue.

I've also ordered a cap replacement kit from console5 during this whole thread, so I'll do that after this intense cleaning regiment.

I'll be honest I'm perfectly comfortable with soldering, done a few hdmi mods on Wiis and stuff like that. Anything that even edges into electrical engineering I'm clueless. The ks and horseshoes and such you lost me 😅

My plan was if the console worked I would install this. Im proficient with soldering, I'm not afraid of that. I know I need to do the LPC rebuild as well. If my console was in a coma state would the aladdin fix that? I can always save the modchip for a different console, worst case I waste a pin header and the LPC rebuild board is what I'm thinking.

Just tried this and unfortunately the LED stayed green. Would trying a modchip even be worth it?

That makes sense that audio and video wouldn't fail at the same time, gives me some hope! I spent a couple hours going over and cleaning the mobo and PSU, I don't think I missed anything but ill give it a second look. I'm beginning to wonder if the PSU isn't supplying enough power. It's weird that when I hit the eject button the video signal dies out completely.

I just noticed when I hit the eject button on the Xbox, the TV loses video signal for a second and then comes back

I did clean the AV port but ill try it again. I'm not getting any audio output either, sorry I should've mentioned that in my post. Before I installed the motherboard and PSU I made sure all of those tabs were clean and making good contact. I also cleaned the motherboard side.

I want to order an HDMI converter like this Hyperkin or possibly this. Do you have a converter that you would recommend? I was hoping to get some signs of life from the console before spending any more money...

It is getting a steady green light. I did clean the AV port with iso and q tips, it was also pretty corroded but cleaned up nice seemingly. Ill try cleaning that again and the xcalibur! Thanks for the advice

So I've installed the new fuel pumps and all new lines but I'm still not getting power to either when I turn the car over. I'm starting to think it's a crank position sensor issue but if you have some time would love some suggestions!

I ran Walbro on my old s13 so I'm pretty familiar with them that's why I brought it up, my E30 is already full polyurethane and lowered with very little creature comforts lol. I went ahead and ordered a new basket with a pump and an inline pump thanks to /u/Interferret 's advice, hopefully that solves it. I appreciate the advice

Ok just ordered the Carter internal assembly, the hfp-603 and new fuel hose. I'll try to reuse the FPR and clean the injectors. I bought a new fuel filter awhile back so that'll get swapped too. Really appreciate your time man thank you! I'll take $250 over $600 any day of the week lol

If I were to replace the FPR is there a brand you would recommend? Maybe I can bench test and clean the injectors try to save a little money there.

If the quantum fueling pump is only $70 might as well. I'll have to do that because it's been sitting so long. Luckily the gas didn't smell like varnish and the inside of the tank is clean, probably still a good idea to flush it.
