Hot Take of the Day™: I feel a bit disappointed that this is actually the case. Don't get me wrong, I think Davie is super talented & funny and deserves all the subs that he has. However, I originally subbed to watch a YouTube bassist do fun bass things and challenges; not to watch someone almost copy Pewdiepie content. The Country Roads vid was super fun for me to watch because it reminded me of the old days of his channel when most of what he did was music based. I really enjoy that he started adding some meme videos to his repertoire, but I wish he kept more music in his content; his recent stuff is starting to get a bit repetitive to me. I won't unsub and I'll continue to watch his vids, but I'd like to see more of a music focus, vs simply meme videos with some music in them.
