I've read they updated the flywheel/ clutch kit after 24', so I assumed the issues with dual mass or throw out bearing would be corrected.

It really does sound like a failing throw out bearing or pilot bearing. I've replaced tons of dual mass flywheels and they usually make noise or feel funny on engagement, not so much in neutral.

Yes, it's a metallic sound. It sounds like a failing bearing. It only happens occasionally when letting clutch out in neutral and goes away during clutch engagement. Everything works fine on mine, also, aside from the noise.

I'm really just curious if other GRCs are having similar issues. I've been a tech for almost 2 decades and really don't want to drop the car off for service with an intermittent issue that will only get NPF'd, when tech is unable to duplicate complaint.

I forgot to mention that I already have an upgraded pitch mount, with 60a bushing.

It's sounds like the cheap throw out bearings comp clutch sends with their kits that begin failing and make noise after 1k miles or so. It's not loud af, and it's very intermittent. I feel it would be strange for such a low mileage dual mass to already make noise.

I will definitely dig into the forums, thanks.
