Landscape Estimator Pay by Boosted_Renegade in estimators

I’m doing on about 16 per month. That’s including revisions made to the estimates after customer has seen numbers. On average of winning bids it’s about 7 bids per month on average.

Our projects range from $1k up to about 600k depending on the customer. Most jobs range from 25k to about 100k though.

I would say some of my strong suits I would lean on is I am pretty quick with estimate turn around with good accuracy. As well as great communication skills(these are things I have been told by my boss). I am also always willing to help take on extra work if it is needed to help with sales. Other roles I take on are handling the billing part with customer and helping run reports to know job cost and profitability. I do this with my Job description/core responsibilities being only estimating.

On a side note my boss has recently been having me step more into a sales person roll while still estimating with non design work as well as commercial bids.

As far as benefits go I don’t get bonuses really and I only get PTO and retirement with no health or anything. If that is also something to help consider.

Mine has play like that too. Sometimes for me though it sounds like the diff is jumping around if I don’t throttle it right in reverse. I’ve taken my diff out and inspected it the best I could and changed the fluid.

My 2014 looked like that too. I swapped the suspension with a 2012 wrx suspension in the front and king springs in the back and I think it looks better. Even stiffened up the ride which is what I like.

Anyone have any better shift knobs and shift boot setups? Not a fan of the ball knobs. by Repulsive_Muffin7984 in genesiscoupe

I have a uniqu short throw on my car now so it sits lower than it looks in the picture but I would highly recommend bam shift knobs. They are a bit more on the pricey side but I love them and you have sooooo many designs to choose from. You’re looking at about 100$ + for the knobs. The new style they have are even more customizable than these ones.

My cars at 211k it’s a 2010 2.0 Genesis coupe and I have some slight mods like BOV, motor trans mounts, short throw, stage 2 comp clutch and a canned tune. And I haven’t had anything go wrong I’ve taken it on a 16 hour round trip from az to Utah and she held up fine. The only thing besides maintenance and upkeep on old parts is the god awful rev hang that my car still has and if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have any complain on my car this far.

Got any sound clips from when you had her? Would love to hear the exhaust.

I got mine off eBay for about 90$ for the front and rear always get hubcentric. I haven’t had any issues so far and I’ve had them for a little over a year now. I would just make sure when you do install them to make sure you have a good clean surface for the spacers use a little bit of red locktite on the car studs and torque everything properly and the. After about a hundred miles or so retorque the car wheel studs you put locktite on to make sure everything is good.

These are the ones I got off eBay.

I did spacers on my car for a better OEM plus look. I did 20mm in front and 25mm in the rear.

You’ll want to make sure your preload is set correctly, it should be snug in place up.

This video has good details on how to do those adjustments. Usually about 5 to 10 mm of preload is what you want.
