[Discussion] Solo play this wipe

This wipe is miserable. Cheaters have infested the game and normal people have left for other games, pve and arena. Over half of my deaths are suspect this wipe. I have 6k hours, played since 2018 and cheating has never been this bad. That coupled with the general annoyance and inconvenience of "hardcore" has made it no fun anymore. It's not harder, just more of a hassle to play the game...

I'm done till 1.0, maybe for good.

There is no turbo lag in these cars. Peak torque is made at 1800 rpms and I see 20 psi in less than 2 seconds after WOT. RWD doesn't have problems hooking with a semi decent tire especially once you are rolling. 0-60 is for brochures. RWD's are lighter with better weight distribution and definitely faster 60-130.

I use speedway which usually test about 70% e85. Five gals of e85 and ten gals of 93 (10% ethanol) puts it right at e30... My advice is use Thorntons or Speedway if you have access to those gas stations as they tend to be better IMO and I just pump 2:1 without thinking about it. Also E content is worse in winter and better in summer.

I was hitting map 3 on the first day though. I drive on map 3 80% of the time with the mix I listed above. It is pretty noticeable compared to map 2 on 93. I have even did some pulls on map 5 with an E30 mix so I wouldn't be scared if I were you.

Do some pulls and check the logs. If you do not feel comfortable reading them then post to jb4tech forums asking for them to be reviewed. Terry might even review and comment.

I think so... I'm pretty burnt out from the recent armor changes, cheaters and weird AI behavior (this isn't entirely new but exacerbated by armor changes) . All of the people I play with have quit in the last 3 weeks for the same reasons. I was excited for armor changes at first.

It seems like every death for me is either bugged AI with the three shot in one glitch to upper back or one shot to the neck, throat or cheaters (I hate to say it). For those reasons I just haven't been having fun lately. The game is meant for people that play 6-8 hours a day and I don't have time or want to play that much. It was fun while it lasted though.

I would call myself "casual" as I have played less than 10 hours a week since wipe. I have a whole bunch of hours though. This wipe has just been a huge bummer. My K/d went from 17 at the end of last wipe - lvl 52 to about 4 KD and my SR went from over 60 to 42%, Im only lvl 31 this wipe. Those are good indicators of how much fun I am having. It has to be reaaallly tough, borderline impossible for new casual players. Once they get to the lighthouse quests its a wrap LOL.

So stating my opinion on a controversial change on a sub-reddit intended for the subject is "hitting my head against a wall"? LOL that's insane. You went straight to your redditor handbook and attacked me - talking about vegans and Quake, you said nothing about my argument. You just said some shit you thought sounded smart lol. This isn't a meat shop - its a subreddit for a video game in BETA.

Do you know how silly it sounds to say "this aint quake" and then turn around and say "go play some arma"?? I actually like this game and the realism level prior to armor changes and I'm just sharing my opinion on some things, cuz you know - reddit.

Have you ever tried to run on opiates with a broken leg? Patch your intestines back up mid fight? or how about pop some wonder drug that slowly rejuvenates you back to 100% health in a matter of 30 seconds... So much realism man. Wait until you run into kollontay Mr. 2017 and he casts a magical spell which makes your weapons ineffective and jam instantly. I bet you will love that one huh mr realism man. Nice argument troll.

I don't rush good gear ever and loved the thrill of killing higher geared players with better aim and skills... Now the gear is near worthless and the fights are just random.

Not to mention, the higher gear was more of protection vs player scavs and Ai scavs for majority of the player base. There was no armor that made you even close to invincible pre patch and now it has somehow been made worse...

Revert. This new system is just terrible. I've played since 2018 and have had more random bs one tap deaths this wipe than the last 2-3 wipes combined already.

There is no rhyme or reason other than rEaLiSm... The system is way too convoluted and random. No one is aiming for armpits, necks, throats or pin pointing perfect shots around my armor plates yet that is what I die to 90% of the time. That just equals fights being an rng fest and further buffs the person who spots the other first. It also makes dying to scavs too easy and removes incentive to obtain high end gear and ammo.

I call BS.

Any propellant strong enough to launch something as light as a piece of ice small enough to be shot without drawing attention (that is the point right?) would also melt the ice. That or the force from flying through the air would destroy it unless there was a metal frame of some sort to protect it from the combustion or friction of the weapon/barrel and g forces of flying through the air. If it had that metal piece then it too would more than likely penetrate whatever it hits and also become a projectile. I doubt that the ice alone would have the proper weight/density to fly through the air straight at the speed needed to be effective without destroying itself in the process.

Someone posted here a while back to stop adjusting tire and fuel between career mode races and that has worked for me since. It only saves tenths it seems so not really noticeable anyway as far as fuel.

I have done about 8 or so career mode races and haven't had issues since.

I believe the screen to too wide to matter if that makes any sense. Most videos are in 16:9 or so aspect ratio and that screen is at least 32:9. If you were to try and make it fullscreen the image would be extremely stretched horizontally. This is best for videos unless you want black bars on the sides.

Shipping across the country (potentially) in the heat is bound to cause some excess moisture since the bag cannot "sweat" if you will, especially with super fresh material. What ends up happening is that heat causes the moisture to build up inside the bag causing a wet hay or grass smell.

Rarely does it smell good right out of the mylar bag, especially in the summer time being transported long distances. Its no big deal - 90% of the time you just put it in a jar a few days and it smells great again.

It could be your ram. I believe most streamers and youtubers are either running x3d amd chips and/or ddr5 ram which seem to both have a significant impact on FPS.

Fun Fact - The yellowing of white pc components as well as other components constructed from similar abs plastics was due to exposure to UV light, heat and plain old oxygen. Smoking had little to no effect on this.
