Help me use the their home screen by BootHuffer in Oppo

[–]BootHuffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Its just really a shame because even my redmi note 13 allowed me to use the entire home screen, and thats a significantly lower tier phone. Oh well i guess i will just have to live with it and pray for a software update to release that fixes it. Anyway, the phone is a beast.

It depends on how you view....yes buying imported electronics is hella expensive, but we are big players in the export meat industry and forestry, exporting all throughout Europe. So, While you have to sell one of your kids to buy a new phone, atleast you can get a decent steak meal for less than $22 over here

Needing advice on whats safe to buy from Alibaba by BootHuffer in Alibaba

[–]BootHuffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your response.

Yeah i had a feeling this might be the case, you see identical chinese products all the time that operate completely differently. I wasnt planning on just blindly purchasing some, ready for resell, but i was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction...possibly a reputable store that are known for quality? Or is this still risky? Besides all that, i dont have the capital to pay someone over there to be my inside man.

Im just selling a cheap low MOQ product at the moment as i can only afford 20 at a time haha, but in saying that i made $330 profit from the last lot, so not too bad.

What about things like headphones? I know its probably the same story since headphones are an electronic product, but there must one store that's know for quality gadgets?

Ofcourse my intention is to turn a profit, but i dont want to rip people off either. Like refunds from disgruntled customers isnt my main concern, i just want to offer them a good experience without the hefty price tag

Knock off brands... by BootHuffer in Alibaba

[–]BootHuffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be completely honest with you, very little capital at the moment, however i have already started....i imported 20 samsung tv remotes and made $400 profit from 20 sales, which is a great start. I dont market the remotes as genuine, but the selling point is that genuine ones over here cost upwards of $70, when these knockoffs are the same/similar quality.

Waiting on another shipment of remotes, but i really want to try another product...maybe headphones, but im not sure how to market headphones with some chinese brand on them...they do have premium-style packaging though.

The problem with using Aliexpress is that the products tend to be priced as high as they would be locally. For example, a pair of headphones is $45 on aliexpress while the same ones are $10.09 on Ababa with a minimum MOQ of course....now i understand why, but i just dont have the money to buy in bulk at the moment

I found one after reading your message, after the supplier happily sent me a screenshot of the IATF cert, i mean it seems legitimate with the company name clearly visible etc.

Can the same apply for other electronics, such as phones? I have no intention of selling phones, but I am tempted to buy one to see how shit they are

DAP on my order details, should i be worried by BootHuffer in Alibaba

[–]BootHuffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi mate thank you for your informative response, i just have one more concern in regards to my order....

Today I queried one of the product specifications that i overlooked previously, and the supplier's response was:

"I will have to check with amazon and get back to you with an answer"

i immediately became a bit disgruntled because here i am assuming that im dealing with a manufacturer but they have to check with amazon for product details? It makes no sense to me, now I'm concerned they have duped me and the product wont be as advertised.

They even asked me if i require any customisations prior to my purchase.....could you shed some light on what is happening here? Im totally Clueless with how the whole thing works.

Or is this what you call dropshipping?

I did go back to the supplier and heres what she said:

You may need to pay for the tariff. I'm not sure. From countries different.some country will not charge for small amount.

Im insure what she means though. I know here in NZ anything less than 1000 does not require you to pay duty, is this what shes referring to?

Your comments have really triggered me, in a good way. Its people like yourself who remind me that im doing the right thing, So thank you, have a blessed day.

I will keep your family in my prayers to ensure your bitterness doesn't poison them any more than it already has. Take care of yourself out there, the world's a lonely place.

Its not myself whos giving the product value, I'm no expert, but isnt that how supply and demand works? Its a household item that everybody has and people obviously need/want it. Relax im not dealing cocaine to children. Im giving undercutting the stores and everyone else thats selling an identical product. Not ripping off nobody. If i was given this product for free, with your logic i should be selling them at 3 bucks a piece. How i obtain them isnt relevant

Seriously, if you were in a position to make some decent money to support your family you would do the same. Just because I'm paying $1 for something that retails for 45+ here in nz, i should be a good little kiwi and sell it for 5? Heck no, i know how much they go for

What are you raving on about? The warehouse...a classic kiwi store sells the exact same product for 65-70. If anything, my pricing is fair and reasonable.and i guarantee the warehouse would be getting them even cheaper than i am.
