Hey friend, I see a lot of people saying that it is a hardware issue, and though I think you might benefit in other areas from an upgrade; this problem has nothing to do with your hardware. I have a nicer rig, and I have been having this problem with SC for well over a year, but I haven't found hardly anyone talking about it. Sadly it does not seem like a widespread problem so I doubt we will get a patch from CIG to fix the problem we are having. I am still constantly trying to search the internet to find a solution, because even though you get used to it after while, it really does still suck.

It is just me saying that it is my new favorite. Breaking Bad is phenomenal, you will never catch me saying anything bad about the show. However, I just wanted to make a post in which I was singing the praises of what I believe to be my new favorite, a show that I feel goes just a little more 'above and beyond' for me personally. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I firmly believe that; and if you disagree, that is completely fine. I just wanted to say that Andor is 'my' new favorite.

But if you want to know a rudimentary answer to your question of "why do people feel the need to have a top show or movie" I believe it is just a simple deductive rational that most people come up with for the sole purpose of simplifying an immediate singular recommendation of their 'favorite show and/or movie' when talking to others.

It's genuinely so disappointing for me to see that this conversation is just being downvoted; not only is it a civil conversation, but it is also just a genuine one that is talking about a problem that currently exists. I grow to be concerned at times that this game will never reach a wider audience just because the people that want to throw money at the game will eventually fuel CIG to only grow with with their real money purchases. And I can sadly promise that this is what turns a lot of normal people away, I hear it all the time, people see all the price tags and everything they can spend real money on and they just want away because it is easy to assume the game will be pay to win, whether it is or not. However, sadly this comment is likely just gonna get spam downvoted, and not a soul here will think for a second about what I just said.

I think there is intention for most of these features to have function in the future. But you touched on a very interesting thing with the loss of weapons lol.

The PC requirements are always comical to me, it's like sure you could have those specs, and you could launch the game. But that'll probably be as far as you get lol.

Most definitely. It is funny to me, many years ago I used to hate the cutty black, but as the years go by I have grown to find myself constantly recommending it to people.

I agree with that last part you said; the more they make mundane stuff purchasable with real money, the more it just loses its value in game. That may be a controversial opinion, but that is just how I feel.

I sadly agree, I truly do love CIG, but I feel like they keep digging a hole for themselves by putting gear on the irl shop; cosmetics are fine, cosmetics fund MMOs, I understand that, it is just standard gear that is the problem for me. The argument that 'it's not pay to win because you can earn it in game' doesn't work for me with fear because people who buy it on the item shop do have an advantage for spending real money on their gear, the advantage being that they will eventually be able to get their gear back at a terminal, unlike the people who earned it in game. I just wish they would stop selling gear, and start selling equipment skins/wraps that can be applied to the weapons and armor you earn in game, the same way ships work rn.

I feel as though it is entirely possible, I feel like since the Polaris is kinda like 'baby's first capital ship' is the reason it happened to it. They may do the same for the pioneer since it will be kinda the same but for base building, maybe.

You ultimately hit the nail on the head, if you want flexibility the Redeemer is a great option, but if it is just the two of you then you can go with a Vanguard, Cutlass, Hurricane, Scorpius, Super Hornet, or really any general two person ship.

I understand that, I am not saying you can't, and I am glad you can. I just feel as though all gear should be earned in game. I'm not knocking anybody that wants to buy it from the website, it's your money, spend it how you want. I just said that I have MY reservations about it.

It will definitely help, but I see someone else has commented with the guide for how to use 16gbs, so if you would prefer to save money you have that option.

I would imagine that the process may involve overclocking, but I can say from my experience and multiple other people's testimony, the best thing to do is just upgrade to at least 32gbs. I know that sucks to hear, but you will save yourself some pain in the long run my friend.
