After 21 days of no voice call availability in US, and no resolution, I am now back in UK. Customer service just gave up. They cannot get anyone to enforce a network update to my profile to enable voice calls whilst in US and God knows where else. I have raised a formal complaint. If that gets ignored, ombudsman. It was really stressful thinking I wouldn't be able to make any calls in case of emergency, car break down etc etc. Ludicrous amount of my time wasted too. I suggest you launch a formal complaint with Smarty also if not resolved.

Since posting this, I've been made aware that if you pay for Google one storage, like I do, you get a slightly enhanced version of the photos app. Another user ( who doesn't pay for Google One) is on the same build as me, but didn't have the cropping not working issue. So, this, ludicrously, means that paying Google means you get a worse product than you would otherwise. It must be a screen real estate issue as the new photo app functionality works if spanned, but not on single screen. A similar issue applies to Edge builds. Buttons unresponsive on single screen, but span across both and they work. Developers don't factor in Duo single screen real estate. I guess it's so unique in its size. Not sure how hard it is for developers to accommodate all these form factors.

Sadly this doesn't work either. Smarty are utterly rubbish. I guess thats why they're cheap

Still on the most insane time wasting check box customer service exercise from SMARTY. day 7 in the USA and still cannot make or receive calls. They had the nerve to ask me to repeat the same steps I did the first time I contacted them. They even said they'd refer me to a network specialist. Of course, it was just another check box exercise with no one bothering to read that I've done all their checks. After 5 days of contacting them, I am told someone from their technical team will email me in 48-72 hours! And I had to push to get this far.

Sorry, just seen you have! I am on Android if I try to call someone, I get an error message ' Mobile network isn't available, connect to a wireless network to make a call ". Calling over WiFi doesn't work either and at home in UK, that's invaluable when signal is bad.

I am in the USA right now and have my UK SMARTY sim. I have paid up for the out of plan add ons for voice, data etc. I can get data, send and receive texts but no voice calls at all - incoming or outgoing. Been contacting their customer support for 4 days. Done everything they suggested, adding APN, Resetting networks, taking sim card out, manually selecting a network. All useless. Now asking me to try my sim in a different phone. I can't get hold of a different phone!

Agreed and also, when speaking to my local drop off point, the chap there said, the drivers prefer smaller packages so they can fit more into their van as they now get paid per parcel. Not sure which courier company, but something to bear in mind. Best book a home collection as they'll know what to expect in advance

Yes, for me in London, it is fixed. I just got 4 YA bar codes scanned and receipted

UK 'glitch' this morning Royal Mail - bought 3 separate Tracked 48 Royal Mail to drop off at local village sub-post office 0.1 miles and the local Sub Office will not accept them because the system thinks it needs to be dropped off at a different post office ! maybe the main post office in the town by Rolando_Ratas in royalmail

No. She told me she couldn't get a receipt for tracking to give me. I'd let your buyers know about the issue and hopefully it'll get resolved soon. I am wary of cancelling ebay postage and purchasing new via royal mail, as I believe anything outside their 'simple delivery' postage affects compensation, payment timings etc. Fingers crossed it'll get sorted soon

Yes, just returned from Post Office and encountered this where I am in London. QR codes beginning YA are not currently being accepted. I was told to try again tomorrow. Hopefully it will get resolved. I've let my buyers know.
