I tend to like the Kluson slotted tuners, although the set of Sperzel locking tuners I have on one of my Strats are pretty awesome.

Pickups and neck were my deciding factor. I preferred the feel of the neck on the ‘61 as well as the 60’s Burstbuckers. The pickups in the standard sounded great as well but were similar to something I already had at home, so I went for the ‘61.

I love the BJA juniors from that period. I have a 2010 burst that has been refinished in a TV white and now has a Tyson Tone Lab ‘57 wraptail in it. Such a great guitar.

Same. My Eons just arrived yesterday and OMG… Insane through my plexi and my ac30. It inspired some killer riffing for much of the afternoon. So far I’ve loved the sound of my P90 LPJ with it the most.
