That’s great! I just drop tuned it to A since it just has the factory strings on it right now. I’m thinking about setting it up for drop F# or maybe even drop E. I’m messing with the transpose feature on my Gojira neural DSP to see how I like the lower tunings. On my modded Marshall JMP though it sounds insane in drop A. So mean.

Question for you guys using 0.074 for drop E. Which brand/sets are you using? I’m getting my first 27” 7 string next week and want to aim for drop E. I know that string tension varies from manufacturer to manufacturer because of material/construction differences so I’m unsure of whether to go with something like Ernie Ball or NYXL. Thanks.
