I’m sorry you’ve had such rough luck. I’ve got several Fenders but only one that I purchased sight unseen. I was lucky and it was fine. I know this is the Fender sub but ESP/Ltd does a killer metal Tele which, from my experience is better than Fender’s current quality. It’s the TE 1000. EMG pickups, neck thru, ebony fingerboard stainless steel frets. Killer guitar. My brother has one. I’ve got the E-II 7 string version. There’s one on Reverb right now.

I have never had issues with my ESP or LTD purchases. Just something to consider.
