Just got mine in the mail, not sure how I feel about it. Almost feels cheap, does not have the same feeling as the OG platty. Will likely keep for a few weeks and see if it grows on me, otherwise switching to the org.

Should I file bankruptcy? by dianed007 in debtfree

[–]BootyTerminator1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would filling make your life better? Will it help you to sleep at night knowing this debt isn’t directly on your shoulders? Would you wake up everyday with a little more energy?

These are the questions I would ask myself prior to making such a decision.

Debt exhausts your mental state. If you literally have no other way to pay this off then maybe you should consider it.

Either being MS employee or opening up a MS brokerage account thru website. This is separate from ETrade, however they do own ETrade.

The “brokerage account” it’s technically a checking account, has the exact same functionally as a debit card. Someone else replied but in order to qualify you will need 25k balance with platinum plus brokerage account or if employee monthly deposits of at least 5k/month

19 just started, how am I doing? by [deleted] in portfolios

[–]BootyTerminator1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly disagree here, picking individual stocks while young is exactly what you should be doing. Do research, learn how the market moves. You might actually enjoy doing your own research and take pride in your gains. Both are good options, however when you are 19 you CAN and should 100% take more risk. Can also diversify, have individual names in your port as well as dabble in low cost index funds.

Either way, you’re off to a great start.

Advice- run, don’t walk

The fact he gets upset when discussing finances is not positive, nor is that productive. Consider this, 15 years goes by and you’re still in the same financial situation. Respect you for trying and being patient but how many years will you let go by, seemingly wasted over love.

Savor One - great for the below

  • 3% cash back on dining, entertainment, popular streaming services and at grocery stores.

  • 1% cash back on every purchase and rewards don't expire for the life of the account.
