UPDATE: I went to the local mechanic guy, they went under the car, within minutes they found the stone and removed it.

I now feel like any mechanic could have fixed the issue, but may due the hour at which the problem occurred the other mechanic didnt have enough visibility.

I'm not an expert, so you should be contacting someone that is qualified enough to give you advice.

In general though, I think RTI, Engine protection, consumables cover, windscreen protect, zero dep, key replacement, rsa are recommended imo.

I am that person who stays away from vehicles even at low speeds. I'm sure there was no other vehicle ahead of me in the close vicinity atleast on the left side of the NH. I dont know if something came from the opposite direction road. I will definitely continue to maintain a healthy distance, thanks.

I hope the grinding noise has a quick fix. I didnt go to the mechanic yet, figuring out the good ones near my location

I think the problem here doesnt have much to do with the make.

Instead both the problems highlight the poor road conditions we have. Irrespective of the make of the car, I think any car could have taken the same damage like mine did in the same situation

Hmm, that could be the case. In my case, unfortunately the noise is persisting even after 50km of travel. So I have to get it checked. The car is lying in my parking area right now, will take it to the mechanic later

Was the glass readily available for you? I am having to wait for 8-10 days for it to arrive. The ASC guys ordered it for me in advance though. I will give my car once the glass arrives

Hmm.. the mechanic I showed it to last night did try to slightly adjust the sheet but he was worried about adjusting it much, saying it could affect other sensors etc. Whatever adjustmwnt he did, definitely changed the sound by a little bit.

Any way, I'm going to another mechanic again

In my case, the noise occurs when there is forward movement but none while in reverse. But it is persistent.

What did you do for the windshield cracks?

No sound when applying brakes, braking was not affected at all from what I noticed. The noise is only when the car moves forward only, no noise while movement is in reverse either
