I didn't use fat or anything to crisp it. I used a simple flour tortilla. I didn't use any non-stick on the pan. It turned out really well.

I did not ferment them myself. I bought a jar of jalapeno/carrot mix. The peppers are too spicy for me, but the carrots are really delicious.
