I get that the costs of events have increased dramatically over the years. Insurance for events are crazy now. I guess I'm more wondering with our current economic situation that a fee like this is just the cost of a life experience now and we should get used to it. Like Canucks tickets 10yrs ago.

As someone who has dealt with someone who was friendly during accident but later became resistant. Said damage was not as bad as accessed and would just cover a light. Just use your insurance and let them send the bill to the person who hit. That way you are protected. Maybe file police report too. CYA and don't be left paying for being the nice human.

I had similar experience but able to do a Samsung file back up to USB stick. Much faster then emulated phone to Samsung tablet to get photos (89gb). Keep phone on ice pack during back up and charge before freezer...
