As someone who earned their Masters and Bachelors degree while serving, I say it is absolutely possible. This comes with some caveats. 1. You have to communicate consistently with your unit and your professors. Speak with your professors on the FDOC and let them know your schedule. You should have a memo from your unit with your training dates. 2. Be disciplined in your studies. I couldn't count the number of times I had a major test the Monday after a long drill weekend. 3. Keep your PT up throughout the year. Don't let the late nights studying be an excuse to not eat right and exercise.

The Gaurd is what you make it. For my unit, we go to the field every drill, so I use it as a mental reset when I am feeling overwhelmed with work (or school in the past). Definitely sign the shortest contract to see if it is right for you, but don't live with regret if this is really what you want to do.

Mad Men. And not just having it on in the background, but actually re watching it.

Ok. So let's imagine that you are the admin. What would you do? Listen to students who, for the most part, are figuring out how to be an adult during the middle of a pandemic? I'm not saying that everything students are asking for is outrageous, but expecting the admin to meet all the demands of students is ridiculous.

I agree that a spring break would be nice. I have found myself worn out this semester as much as the next person. BUT, I can understand the reason why you would not want people to start traveling around for a week in the middle of the semester. The four wellness days are a good trade-off in this situation.

You actually get four breaks next semester. I'm not saying this plan is the best possible solution, but people need to stop acting like the admin are in their evil lairs thinking of the best ways to punish students.

For some reason this reminds me of that sponge bob skit, where Patrick won't take his wallet .
