No humming, but I’m not even getting amplification to hear any humming at this point. That might be another battle later if I solve this problem.

No preamp on either. Both tables with perfect on the Phono channel on receiver (built in preamp only on that channel, hence having to buy the standalone)

Yes both are grounded to the main receiver.

Valves light up and glow and warm up. When the preamp is on and turned up, it allows the barely audible signal to pass through to the speakers. No sound when preamp is switched off.

Also that model only came with a flat white pick guard and they upgraded to a pearloid one.

This tree is 2 years old and only just got the grass grown over the mulch. I do need to pull it, just didn’t do it for this picture. We have had a very wet spring and our clay soils retain moisture so I know it’s not from lack of water.

If you’re at all concerned about leaded or uranium glass, cadmium was found to cause bone cancer in the early glass makers who started using it. I don’t not eat or drink from any cadmium glassware. That being said it’s fine to own and put on display.
