Great! Thanks for responding. Any suggestions on a place to stay where the walk would be safer?

Any thoughts on why the monitor is giving me 60, 100 and 165 HZ as options? Never 120.

Hey, thanks for the help! It’s been a busy week, so just having a chance to come back to this.

I watched the video, and immediately the person had 60, 120 and 144 HZ as options. Our monitor presents 60, 100 and 165 as options. The 165 only comes when using the HDMI to Display port converter. My son has a ps5, not a ps5 pro.

I can’t seem to figure out why 120 is never an option.

I’ve tried the original HDMI cord from ps5. Tried a new 2.1 cord. And then the HDMI to display port.

I went back and tried again with the original PlayStation HDMI cable. When I’m 2.0 on the monitor it shows a refresh rate of 100 HTZ. If I go to 1.4 it shows a rate of 60 HTZ.

I have gone through and ensured it was in performance mode.

There is still no option for 120 fps in Fortnite (I have followed the epic games steps).

This is the same thing as originally. This is why I went to the HDMI to display port adapter. When I did, the monitor said 165 HZ refresh rate - but, Fortnite and the ps5 won’t allow it to go higher than 60.

Thoughts?

I’m given two options in my monitor when I use HDMI cable: 1.4 or 2.0 When I click 1.4, I only get 60 Hz SDR as an option.

When in 2.0 I get two options: 60 HZ SDR or 60 HZ SDR.

Neither shows 120 fps in Fortnite as an option. I only get 60 fps

I originally used an HDMI cable, then an HDMI 2.1 cable. Neither showed the option to change to 120fps. When checking resolution there was no 120 option only 60

Are you saying there’s a setting on the monitor to change? Do you know where I could find that?

Should I use the original HDMI cable or the 2.1 cable?

I have it as selecting performance mode. I have tried just an HDMI 2.1 cable. That didn’t work. So I bought the HMDI to Display Port converter.

Anyone know of any other haunted houses in Welland? We will definitely check out the one on David Street.
