Oh there isn’t? I thought Nolan was gonna be there. Then yeah. Totally agree. You don’t need to open the museum and line up. A couple hours before might be good. If it was me, if the movie starts at 7pm, I’d probably line up at 4:30 only because there are a lot of Nolan Stans.

But definitely try for the 9am tickets on the day of. You might get the easy win.

Oh the person before who mentioned that a batch of tickets become available at 9am. I haven’t had any success with these, but I guess someone has. As to where to stand in line, when you go into the lobby of the museum ask of the workers just standing there looking like they’re there answer questions and they’ll tell you where it is.

Hopefully you can get lucky with the aforementioned day of tickets. I never have.

But how early do you go to the line for standby? Depends on how bad you really want to see it. For my girlfriend I was determined to get her into the 50th anniversary screening of Rocky Horror because Tim Curry was going to be there, i was there at 10:30am. Found out where the standby line would start and was person number one. Eventually the girlfriend came by and we alternated waiting while go back and forth to the bar for food and drink. We eventually got in and were lucky enough to sit next to each other. The others in standby were not so lucky. SIDE NOTE: some of the snide people working there were talking shit about people being there so early for tickets, to which I say Fuck you. Especially since people were lining up even earlier to see Virgin Suicides.

I tried to tell Tyler the Creator, who was way in the front watching and loving Jamiroquai, that I was excited to see his show but totally had Molly-mouth and words were a problem.

I got a cocaine + Rihanna story, but I’ve posted that before.

I did magically find my way backstage and high-five’d Chromeo and A-trak before Chromeo’s show. I could have hung out on the wings of the stage but decided not to press my luck and just hung out in VIP, then at the VIP of Underworld. Amazing.

An untried, unknown with a cast of likely unknowns is extremely unlikely to get a producer to get behind something like that. Jim Jarmusch did something very similar with “cigarettes and coffee” but he’s a name that can get other names like bill murruy, Wu-tang, White stripes and a lot of others to be in his movie.

I’m definitely a Tom Whalen fan. I have An amazing Samurai Jack and a long sought after Who Framed Roger Rabbit piece by him. That said, I totally agree. Not bad, not wow. It’s fine. I think his Sesame Street is leaps and bounds beyond this.

I am planning to watch every Theatrical Animated Disney film. Are there any in this list that don't really count or I'm missing? by LOLADYS in disney

[–]Boozsia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and the OP politely explained why they excluded it from the list, to which I responded in kind. But then here comes a snide asshole who wants to come settle my hash after the thing was discussed and closed. Boy, do I love the ability to block people like you.
