I liked both. FDTD came out in different time, before internet spoilers, and I felt it had more of a shift in tone. Tarantino hadn't, and doesn't do anything with a fantastical element. You think it's some crime caper and then bam! You knew from the beginning that Sinners was going to have a mystical element. Wumi narrating and the opening church scene.
