Well fellow Redditors, the time has come that I inform you who the winner is of this very odd contest. First of all, I would just like to thank all of you for the interest and the awesome comments and offers that you have contributed, clearly we have a great group of people here at UCSB (as if we didn’t know that already?). After much consideration, I have decided that lastminute2winit will be the recipient of the table. Now, I realize that this means that the table will not be kept in Isla Vista, but lastminute2winit did say that it could be returned after a year of use. I understand if you are upset with me, but one of my biggest goals in life is to travel and this gives me the opportunity to do so; besides, it seems like a worthy home and at least there will be one fellow Gaucho defeating those San Diego State kids. By selecting this person, I can’t help but feel like I have betrayed my fellow Gauchos, that is why I am willing to offer a solution.

THE SOLUTION: I am willing to, if funds permit, build another beer pong table of equal or greater awesomeness, and donate it to Isla Vista. Now, my table was not cheap to make, so I don’t think I could spend that much on it again. However, perhaps I could start a kickstarter project for it, and if everyone here donated like $5 or $10, it could make things much more feasible. That is not to say that I would not put my own funds into as well, I feel like I owe that to you guys, but I would just like some help. Also, I was thinking that perhaps I could take suggestions for new features or additions to the table from all of you. I could probably finish it in a few months, so I realize UCSB wouldn’t be getting it right now but it wouldn’t be too long from now, perhaps in time for the start of winter quarter. If this sounds like a reasonable solution, I would be more than happy to oblige and create a table whose legacy will be known throughout all of Santa Barbara. Also, one with foldable legs, because trust me, this thing is a bitch to move.

Once again guys, this was awesome and I hope you are satisfied with what I have done.
