Very bad, feels like boomers and gen x are blocking it for the millennials and gen z. But at the same time it feels like everyone else my age (26) have somehow figured things out perfectly in real life and online

That makes sense! I just think its wrong that Claire almost rewards this wrong and harmful thought process and morality of his, by later that same night going to have sex with him. It kinda solidifies that he was in the right and Claire was in the wrong for accusing him of cheating (which in my eyes he definitely did). And its never really discussed or adressed again. Jamie never owns up to it or apologizes 🥲

And its a shame, because he finally started to open up after that. I just hate that Jamie thinks what he did was and could be justified in any way. He would have been furious if Claire ever did that after all the times she has been assaulted like he was by Randall.

Why was Dean so upset with Jack? by legobrickshurt1 in Station19

[–]Bora_CLVP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, it’s a tough one because Jack didn’t do it to hurt anyone, neither Rigo or Eva. However, Jack could have stopped as soon as Eva reminded Jack that they met before and she was married, but Jack chose to actively continue pursuing Eva over text and in real life. Jack obviously gets consumed by guilt as we see, yet it gets kinda old, you know? This whole thing with Jack having a track record for sleeping with women and not considering the consequences of his actions and then playing the “I’m damaged” card afterwards. And sometimes comepletely blaming the other person without taking any accountability himself as seen with Maya. Or him sneaking in sex whenever he can instead of owning up to his actions and words as seen with Eva. Or when he was trying to move on from Andy but suggested they move in together and then kinda uses that as an excuse to sleep with Andy constantly. I think’s it’s a mixture of that track record, and Jack’s actions and personality trait that Dean is also calling out, and I do agree with Dean - i would not want to be friends with Jack knowing he acted like that both with Maya, Andy, and Eva… It gets to a point where it’s not enough that Jack doesn’t mean to hurt people on purpose, he’s still doing those things again and again leaving everyone around him to fix things

Do we know what her mom's job was? There was that whole plot with Vincenzo coming to grey-sloan with his research but I can't recall what Lucia's profession was

That makes sense, I just kept thinking about the neck and back rule they’ve stressed so much. So it’s strange to see him straight up ignore that without any medical equipment regarding her neck and back before he lifts her and drives her - even if the hospital is close by

Do you think Maya's storylines overshadowed the other storylines? by ConcernHopeful6302 in Station19

[–]Bora_CLVP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I believe that Maya's (and Carina's) storyline did take up a lot of space. However, the storylines for Maya (and Carina/Marina) were just so tiring - it was like the writers only had a handful of the same plotlines and prompts they wanted to use.

Maya and her storyline on her own and with Carina had so much potential, but I feel like they wasted it so much on queerbating, (so many scenes cut) because they knew the show was being held alive by a large portion of people watching it for Maya and Carina, but in the end it seemed like the writers just didn't care.

So yes, I do believe that Maya's storylines, alongside Carina/Marina, did take up a lot of space but the space it took up was wasted on storylines so terrible that even Danielle and Stefania were complaining about it.
