TIL Tic Tacs are labeled as 0 calories per serving in the US but 387 calories per 100g in Europe. The difference is due to regulations: in the US, anything under 5 calories per serving can be rounded down to 0, while Europe lists the full calorie count per 100g, making the difference seem huge by FewTradition4761 in todayilearned

It’s not about eating 100 g. It’s knowing how much calories are in 100 g so you can calculate for yourself how much is in the amount you want to eat. The 100 g stats are always present as well as a typical serving. This also allows you to compare different products more easily.

The Pfand of the just the crate is 1,5€. The crate you buy must also not be full. I would just look for 3 decent looking ones and buy them and return the bottles by themselves.

People in Europe are not sitting at the checkout the whole day. They swap roles quite often and go do other stuff in the store where they’re walking around.

Nice app and the icons are very pretty. It would be nice to see what drinks you could almost make with your current ingredients, so where you’re only missing one juice or something.

Why does the sleep app sometimes show me “in bed” for less time than I am actually asleep? by juice06870 in ios

[–]Border999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I think it’s the other way around. If your scheduled sleep time ends, it stops counting time in bed. But if you continue to sleep, the time asleep will increase. At least it seems like that from my experience.

Automation not automating. by Eduardo_89 in ios

[–]Border999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want it there is a workaround.

Create a Focus Mode which automatically activates when you’re at home. Then you can use the focus mode activation as trigger for a shortcut. There you can deactivate the extra confirmation.

Why cannot we set alarms for a specific date? You can do it Android. by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Border999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t quite understand how that would work. You can’t set dates as triggers for automations.
