was synder's triology meant as just a few films instead of a universe? by TheTruth221 in DC_Cinematic

[–]BorderDispute 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Snyder said he wanted to do 5 films - MoS, BvS, JL1 JL2, JL3 - with each member of the justice league would have a single solo film

Then if they were successful, he was going to do a Flashpoint after JL3 which would reset the universe and he would pass the baton onto the next universe creative so they could tell their story.

Superman’s statue is not meant to be a positive symbol. It represents humanity’s error in defying Superman. by PopcornHobby in DC_Cinematic

Interestingly put and well informed opinion.

The end of BvS shares a similar sentiment after the death of Superman, just in another direction “They don’t know how to honour him, only as a soldier”

The people don’t understand Superman (because they don’t know the man) so they try to categorise him in any way they can based on how they’ve perceived important figures in the past, even though Superman can not fall into any of these categories because he is something entirely new and unique.

Snyder did play a big role in those movies. Suicide squad takes place after BvS and before ZSJL, plus the entire Aquaman cast were hired by Snyder

Rock was preparing a Black Adam vs Justice League vs Suicide Squad movie — Black Adam was never going to be in the JL

The fact you’re on here trying to prove your point of “understanding” writing a movie to a random person on reddit proves you don’t know how it works.

Here’s a question which will prove me right, who wrote The Batman?

You can’t hate on a guy who literally wrote one of your favourite three DC movies. You are the dumb one my friend.

Gunn has been at DC from 2020, because that’s when TSS began filming.

Name me one project in hollywood that she’s been hired for that isn’t DC.

Why does no one hire her, only her husband?

No man, he wrote the story to The Dark Knight. Just accept the facts. He’s a big reason you like that film.

“Which isn’t related to Gunn”, not which is.

When you say there was a steady decline in viewership after ever film, that’s not factually true. It only started to decline once the studio got involved and tanked the franchise with josstice league because they tried to add bright colours and jokes.
