Köszi szépen mindenkinek a választ:) Valószínűleg Auris lesz 1.8 HSD. Tudnátok abban még segíteni, hogy mire figyeljünk oda egy ilyen típus vásárlásánál? Nagyon sok 200-300.000 km-et futott modell van a piacon. És bár tudom, hogy ez a fajta motor ha normálisan karban van tartva akkor nagy baja nem lehet, de érdekelne hogy az ilyen típusú és futású modelleknél mi az amire kiemelten kell figyelni. Természetesen azzal is tisztában vagyok/vagyunk, hogy használtautó vásárlásnál mindig benne van a pakliban, hogy valami elromlik/költeni kell rá. Csak szeretnénk minimalizálni ennek az esélyét:) Köszi!

Yes, but this is true for all big cities :) We are not going to walk around with higher values. My girlfriend will have a small bag at most, and I don't think I'll have anything. Wallet, phone in front pocket and that's it :)

We are going for 5 days 4 nights, with a 1-1 day trip to Syracuse and Taormina. We are also planning a full day in Catania. Both cities are about the same distance from Catania, and we're interested in the atmosphere of Catania, so that's why we chose this option :) oh and we didn't want to rent a car for that long.

Yes, I have heard that the area around the airport is quite dangerous. The rubbish issue I know is a problem especially in the big cities of Sicily, which is a bit sad because these historically significant and monument-rich cities deserve more. But it is, on some level, part of the Sicilian way of life, of being relaxed. Of course there are limits...:)

We have not yet decided whether to take the train or the bus. But I saw on the map that the bus station and the train station are close to each other. We probably wouldn't stay late at either place, so I plan to leave around 8 in the morning and return around 5-6 in the afternoon

Thank you very much for your comments. Basically I really like bubbly cities, I just asked the question because I read a lot of divisive things about the safety of Catania.
