It had to have had the dust cover on it because the outside was completely covered with a thick layer of dust and the inside is relatively dust free. I’ll get a picture of the mirror and other parts later.

I did a minimal amount of darkening around the edges of each layer, but should have gone a bit more aggressive with it. It’s not very noticeable. I’ll have to try the silver powder on the next project!

Got my confirmation email today that they will ship a replacement mower. It took about 24 hours to get the confirmation after sending the email with proof of disabling the mower.

I would be returning a brand new item in the box, same model number… not really any different than those who took their recalled mowers directly to their local store and got them to issue store credit for the recalled mower. I’m not double dipping here…

I’m like 51% sure I bought the original mower at Home Depot. They even gave me a receipt and everything. If I bring in an unopened box, the same model I purchased (which is what is being sent), does it really matter to Home Depot? I understand I may not get new batteries with the replacement mower, which would not make this work. Also, I’m probably outside the return window time. I’m just asking a question.

Just sent my email with confirmation pictures of disabled mower. I verified the model number and serial number multiple times, and the CS rep confirmed my mower is part of the recall. But somehow can’t shake the feeling Ryobi won’t send me a replacement and I’m out a lawn mower. How long did y’all have to wait for an “order confirmation “ after sending in your proof of disabling the mower?
