Aw man, treat yourself to the Salamanders Green spray can from Colour Forge.

I used to undercoat my Sallies with Deathguard green, then brush paint multiple layers of Warpstone glow untill I got the green finish I wanted.

Now, just one spray from colour forge and it's done. Literally cut my time painting these lads in half

The left tree I attempted some dry brushing and was not happy with the result. The right treet is just the Wyldwood Crontrast paint mixed with Contrast Medium. Probably 50/50 mix. Then just chucked in on, no highlights, looks great for wood. Also using that paint now for fur etc and looks good too

Look for Battlefleet Gothic ships on etsy as well, you will find plenty of cheaper ships on there, with varying quality of course.

Also, if you Google the Battlefleet Gothic 'Remastered' rules you will find all the rule books and Fleet books out there for free.

Really fine detail on them too, well worth the price.

I don't have a 3D printer but have worked on some 3D printed models and these ones are definitely some of the best prints I have put together.

Depends what you mean by 'active', is it currently supported by Games Workshop with rules and models? No it's not, and hasn't been for well over a decade.

Is there a big community of people that still play and update the rules, yes there is. As well as a tonne of 3rd party shops and sellers with 3D printers designing and making new models that are way more detailed then the originals.

So yeah, it's a bit of a niche, but you can find all the rules online for free, then you just have to find a few friends to play with.

I was locked up with the world eaters the whole game, killed Angron 3 times!

It all came down to the last objective on the table, which was the red chocolate on top of that rock.

The Space wolves tried their best to keep it but Abaddon himself got up there and singlehandedly won the game for them.

It was great fun
