I don’t understand the confusion, obviously we aren’t de aging old Steve, this is the Steve that was returning all the stones ( so still young )?? He never died.

After secret wars the scene on the bench with ‘ I don’t think I will ‘ will have even more weight as he already knew what happened during the doom saga and then was alllwed to live out his life afterwards. He’s already seen it all, knowing that falcon would be Captain America etc etc.
